Balcony Moon

The balcony is quiet, the city gone soft and gold below, and someone has poured two glasses of wine as if the moon itself were expected for dinner. It hangs low and full over the water, close enough to toast.

There is a whole evening folded into this canvas — warmth, waiting, the particular hush that falls over a balcony at night. It's less a scene than an invitation.
